I went into the Device Manager and told it to search online for a driver update on the LX It's been doing so for 10 minutes, and I'm guessing that's not normal and probably means there isn't anything, but I'm leaving it running anyway.

Alright: just received a replacement from Amazon, and the same issue occurs though, thankfully the audio isn't deafeningly loud at 0 volume.

I don't understand what could be causing this: I assumed it was just a defective headset before, but apparently it wasn't. I'll try calling the Tech Support number soon and will post again with what gets found out. I'm getting that on MUF apps. Why is there no mute for the pop-up volume indicator? I have to go to the Settings charm to see one? But if I use a Mute option anywhere else then the Volume slider will show an X at the bottom.
