How to compress iso psp games
You can then copy the game back to your PSP and play it directly from the memory card, this is useful as you can easily carry many games around on your PSP, it will also help to improve battery life as the PSP does not need to power the UMD drive.
I usually just delete the system update folder. Dont forget to set your USB mode back to the memory stick. Last edited: Dec 31, InsaneNutter , Jul 17, Rick and MasterChief like this. Thanks thats a great little tip, perfect as the homebrew application I had to do this no longer works since updating.
I have used UMD gen for many years to compress my games, never failed me yet. MasterChief , Jul 18, Joined: Feb 7, Messages: 3 Likes Received: 0. How tu run the UMD backups? Excellent tutorial man! Last week happened to be the first time I get to hold on to a PSP. Now is hacked thanks to your guidance. Simply create a folder on the memory stick called ISO and place any games in there. The games will show up under the games menu on the PSP.
InsaneNutter , Feb 9, I'll try that again. I used some of the emulators you uploaded but many of them crashed, are those the best ones yet? Thanks a bunch InsaneNutter, you are the man! Retroarch is a really great multi-emulator runs several different systems on the same program. It's still in beta for the PSP, so it may crash and some games may run slow but give it a shot. Dark Scyth , Feb 10, I must be doing something wrong. I didn't worked. Please help buddies. CSO that will not work, you need to properly compress the ISO as showin in the tutorial above not just change the file extension.
